  Even if you are not Eastern Orthodox, coming by St. John's Cathedral is a beautiful experience from an architectural standpoint. If you like flowers, come anytime between May and mid-september. It is just beautiful. Of course, you will probably also enjoy the Vesper services if you are not Eastern Orthodox. It's beautiful to see the light coming through the windows as the sun goes down.
