  Very good help with families in need of food for home. Thinking about me and the family going to services. Never been to church. Ty

  I love going to this church. They have a potluck after every church service. What makes this potluck better than any church I have ever been to is that it an open potluck for anyone one to come. In most church I bet they believe that about their potluck, but at this potluck a homeless population attends. At first I felt awkward about this but I recognized that this is exactly what Jesus asks us to do, when He says, "Don't invite your rich neighbor to your feast but invite the poor, the hungry, and the sick that your reward maybe great in heaven." Not that anyone is earning their way to heaven, but it is wonderful to see Jesus' compassion demonstrated in this church. Its not separated out but a mixture of people who go to church and people who come for food at the potluck. During the potluck they also have a food pantry for people who are struggling for make ends meet. This is what Jesus came to show us.
