  • Pastor Prevo preaches directly from the Bible and is unashamed of what it says. The church is involved in the community with outreach programs throughout the year. There is always a way to get involved in the church, whether it be in the bus ministry, the adult Sunday school classes, or somewhere else in the church. Having three services throughout the week, each being a different sermon, is great too.

I gave this pastor a "half listen," but turned him off when he told his listeners that we should "return to the Faith of our Founding Fathers." I am sorry to report that that is a lie. Yes, some of the members of the 1st Congress were Christians, but many of them profoundly were not. For example, Thomas Jefferson is a pretty famous member of that 1st Congress and when people think "Founding Father" his name and image often comes to mind. However, get an actual copy of something called "The Jeffersonian Bible." It is called the Jeffersonian Bible because that particular Founding Father compiled it. Read it for yourself. So you see, I gave him a half listen because he was telling people something that is a half truth and what is remaining from a "half truth" is called a lie. If my breakfast cereal box says "Gravel and Grain" I am not taking a spoonful up to find out with my teeth which is which. I worship with Christians who are a 100% Whole Grain, Natural Holy Spirit!

  • We LOVE the Anchorage Baptist Temple!! The people are friendly, love Jesus and show it every day. Pastor Prevo loves people like Jesus by sharing God's truth with them straight from God's Word!!! He is a man who is not ashamed to proclaim the truth of Christ!

  • Take out your bibles and follow along with him, our pastor preaches straight from the bible. God is great, and the people here at Abt will never let you forget it. I am very thankful for God's grace and mercy, and for leading me back to church. Open your heart and give this church a chance, you will feel the holy spirit. God bless!

  • I attended here 1993-1996 and it is still the standard I compare to when looking for a bible believing fundamental church.
